This trend is reflected in the expanding selection of artisanal lacquerware made of bamboo, rattan or clay. Handmade ceramic figurines, vases and other home furnishing with glazed finishes are also offered.

Wicker bags of various styles are also popular gifts and promotional items. Options include shoulder bags, totes, sling bags, clutches and beach bags. For raw materials, the typical choices are seagrass, water hyacinth, bamboo, jute and other locally sourced natural materials.

For stationery products, notebooks, notepads and postcards in local handmade paper are available. Handmade greeting cards featuring paper filigree are also offered.
