Open Trade Asia Negotiation Simulation – Manila 2018

The Hinrich Foundation and Asia Society Philippines bring the 3rd Open Trade Asia Negotiation Simulation (OTANS) for university students in Manila, Philippines this January 27 & February 3, 2018.

In this interactive learning experience, 60 university students from Manila learn about the challenges and opportunities in the international trade arena, specifically in the ASEAN region, by actively engaging in a Model United Nations style of discussions and debate.

This edition of Open Trade Asia Negotiation Simulation brings together students from Manila to represent their country teams – which are members of the ASEAN region – to negotiate the following sectors: health care services, digital economy, agricultural subsidies, and non-tariff measures on food products.

Open Trade Asia Negotiation will be held on 2-consecutive weekends with the following dates:

Day 1 – January 27, 2018
Day 2 – February 3, 2018

The venue will be at the Far Eastern University – Makati Campus, Gil Puyat Ave. corner Zuellig Loop, Makati City, Philippines.

Detailed agenda for the event will be provided soon.
