Hinrich Global Trade Leaders currently studying at Hong Kong Baptist University had the opportunity to meet and share their thoughts with Ms. Huynh Dinh Thai Linh, the new manager of the Foundation’s Trade Career Development Program. She was accompanied by Thuy Ho, the Foundation’s scholar coordinator.

Over coffee and a fun and challenging game of Jenga, the group got to know each other and Linh. Linh previously served as Academic Program Coordinator of Vietnamese-German University, where she was responsible for recruitment and management of the Leipzig University Small Enterprise Promotion (SEPT) and Training MBA program. She also held the post of Director of the Praxis partnership Project, designed to enhance capabilities of entrepreneurship and innovation management for SMEs.

Pragya Bhatnagar, who is pursuing a master’s degree in International Journalism Studies, expresses his amazement of the game Jenga.

The Hinrich Global Trade Leaders also shared their thoughts on the scholarship program with Linh. Among the things the group discussed were ways to promote the program to talents in China. Working closely with select universities were among the proposals raised.

Olivia Ye was awarded the Hinrich Foundation Global Trade Leader Scholarship 2017 to pursue her bachelor’s degree in business administration, major in marketing at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). She is currently in the second semester of her third year.

Upon her graduation, she is interested in pursuing a career in marketing. Her goal is to become a marketing manager and a trade leader.
