Key highlights
A truly international experience
As a CEMS program, students are required to spend at least one semester abroad at one of 33 universities within the CEMS alliance. This ranges from Cornell University in North America and London School of Economics in Europe to Fundação Getulio Vargas in South America and National University of Singapore in Asia Pacific.
The program also requires students to take up an international internship outside their location of study, fostering a professional, multicultural work experience prior to graduation. This is facilitated by the network of CEMS Corporate Partners, consisting of over 70 leading multinational companies such as Google, Proctor & Gamble and L’Oréal.
Upon graduation, students are expected to demonstrate proficiency of two foreign languages besides English. This multilingual requirement not only enhances students' employability but also prepares them for the complexities of international trade, cross-cultural communication and leadership.
A strong focus on employability
The program starts with a Block Seminar where students spend one full week at the European Space Agency to explore the commercialization of space-based technology and offer consulting to startups. This develops practical business skills, industry insights and a unique professional network that are highly valued in the job market.
Skills seminars, a mandatory component of the program hosted by a partner university or by corporate partners, focus on developing essential soft skills, such as leadership, communication, negotiation and teamwork, which are crucial for success in a global business environment.
MIM students also need to complete a Professional Competency Program, which is designed to develop essential leadership skills, build meaningful connections and acquire a deeper understanding of their personal and social impact.
