Hinrich Foundation opens new Global Trade Leaders Scholarships for citizens of India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodia and China

HO CHI MINH CITY, Dec. 5, 2016 – The Hinrich Foundation calls for applications for the Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholarships for academic year 2017. All scholarship recipients will not only receive full financial support for their studies, but also will benefit from comprehensive skills training and trade career development programs with internships and job placement upon graduation.
Details about 2017 Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholarships and how to apply online are available here for the following scholarships:
- Master of Arts in International Journalism Studies at Hong Kong Baptist University for citizens of Vietnam, the Philippines, India, Indonesia & Cambodia.
- Bachelor of Business Administration at Hong Kong Baptist University specifically Year 2 students of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
- Master of Business Administration at Vietnamese-German University in Ho Chi Minh city for Vietnam citizens.
Additional scholarships will be available in early 2017.
Since 2003, the Hinrich Foundation has offered scholarships and career in trade to talented people. The program’s ultimate goal is to enable scholars to create positive impact in their community by equipping them with academic knowledge and skills training to take leadership roles in international trade.

“Each scholarship for degree programs is a collaborative effort of Hinrich Foundation, academia and industry,” said Mai Nguyen, Program Manager of the Hinrich Foundation. “We not only provide full financial support to the scholarship recipients, but also offer a well-designed internship for at least 6 months in-between studies and a job placement upon graduation”.

Joining global network of Hinrich Foundation Alumni Association
Hinrich Foundation has provided scholarships to 115 students to study in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs at universities in Hong Kong, China, the Philippines, Thailand, Israel, the USA, and Vietnam. Its international alumni come from 12 countries work extensively in trade-related areas to make significant impact in their communities.
