    From Bien Hoa City, Vietnam, Alex is Senior Leather Engineer for VF Asia. VF is one of the world’s largest apparel, footwear and accessories companies with iconic brands, including The North Face, Lee jeans, Vans and Jansport. His responsibilities include managing VF’s leather suppliers, as well as conducting technical training to associates and factories in Vietnam and Cambodia. Previously, he worked for C & J Clark, a British footwear company from 2013, the Rino Mastrotto Group from 2011 and Taekwang Vina Company from 2009.

    Alex received his bachelor's degrees in Business Administration from Lac Hong University in 2012 and Shoe Design and Pattern Engineering from Sonadezi College of Technology and Management in 2009.

    Based in Vietnam, Aveline is Senior Sales Manager at Avery Dennison. Founded in 1935, Avery Dennison is a global leader in materials science and manufacturing based in California. A Fortune 500 company, it employs more than 30,000 employees in over 50 countries. Her responsibilities include leading the sales team, creating strategic plans for major vendors and enhancing partnerships with target customers. She began her career with Avery as Human Resources Assistant from 2006.

    Aveline moved to sales and customer service from 2008, then moved into senior regional business operations in 2009. From 2013, she became Business Development Manager in Cambodia. She earned her bachelor's degree in Business English from Suzhou Vocational University in 2006.

    Binh is Director of Global Trade and Customs, and Integrated International Tax at KPMG Vietnam. Providing audit, tax and advisory services, KPMG in Vietnam currently has four offices across the country and employs about 1,500 professionals. His role involves providing clients with services and advice on customs, and producing well-researched tax and customs opinions. Previously, Binh was Global Trade and Tax Solutions Consultant at Thomson Reuters from 2015. He also held managerial positions in Vietnam for Tupperware Brands, Panalpina, Huawei Technologies, Stellar Footwear and Dragon Logistics.

    Binh earned his bachelor’s degree in International Business and English from the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi in 2003.

    Chau is Business Development Manager of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTA) in Vietnam. NZTA is New Zealand’s international business development agency aiming to help New Zealand businesses build strategic alliances and develop commercial relationships internationally. Her role at NZTA is to promote commercial products and services from New Zealand and validate market opportunities. Previously, she held various leadership roles in operations and marketing with British Council, East Meets West Foundation and T&A Ogilvy.

    Originally from Hanoi, Vietnam, Chau earned a bachelor’s degree in International Economics from Hanoi National University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

    Chau is Vice President for International Desk at Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV). Founded in 1957, BIDV is listed in the Top 2000 world’s largest companies and Top 400 world’s largest banks, according to Forbes and Brand Finance 2017. Her responsibilities include supervising trade finance and banking services, and developing customers of foreign direct investment. She held leadership roles in various divisions at BIDV since she started in 2003.

    Chau earned her master's degree in Finance and Control at IAE Lyon - France, University of Commerce in Hanoi in 2010 and bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from the National Economics University in Hanoi in 2003.

    Chi is Head of Product Management at Samsung Vina Electronics. Established in 1995 in Vietnam, the company has more than 110,000 employees and a total of $9.5 billion in investment capital. She supervises the Product Marketing Department responsible for product portfolio management, product development, pricing and profit and loss management. Her first role at Samsung was Product Management Senior Manager in 2017 where she was responsible for products.

    Previously, Chi held leadership positions at several companies in Vietnam, particularly British American Tobacco, Pizza Hut, Nokia and Unilever. She earned her bachelor's degrees in Foreign Language at the Hanoi Foreign Language University and in Foreign Economics at the Foreign Trade University both in 2001.

    From Ho Chi Minh City, Hieu is Manager of International Student Recruitment at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University Vietnam. Founded in 2000, RMIT University Vietnam is the Vietnamese branch of the RMIT University in Australia. His role is to develop and implement marketing and recruitment strategies. He has been with RMIT University Vietnam since 2017, when he was a Senior Coordinator of Stakeholder Relationships. Hieu also worked for AIA Insurance Vietnam as a Life Planning Manager from 2016, Merck Sharp & Dohme as a Marketing Associate from 2015, and HSBC Bank as a Premium Banker from 2014. He earned his Bachelor of Economics in Finance at the RMIT University Vietnam in 2013.

    Hoang is the Manager of Asia Aquaculture Development and Technical Support at Virbac. Founded in France in 1968, Virbac is one of the world's largest veterinarian pharmaceutical companies. His major responsibility is to ensure sustainable and rapid growth of corporate product portfolio in warm water aqua segment across Asia.

    Before joining the industry, he was a researcher associate at the Swinburne University of Technology in Australia. He also held research positions at the International University, Novus Aqua Research Center and Research Institute for Aquaculture No. 2 in Vietnam.

    In June 2015, Hoang started his PhD candidature in Science at the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.

    Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Huy is Operations Manager at Avery Dennison. Founded in 1935, Avery Dennison is a global leader in materials science and manufacturing. It employs more than 30,000 employees in over 50 countries. He manages the production, technical and quality teams of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag and Heat Transfer Label (HTL), and leads global project team. Huy's previous role with the company was Production Manager for printing from 2015, and then for HTL after a year. He also worked with Pepsico Vietnam from 2008, and earlier with P&G Binh Duong Plant.

    Huy earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from HCM University of Technology in 2008.

    Huyen is National Sales Manager at Siemens Healthineers Vietnam. One of the leading global medical technology companies, Siemens Healthineers has over 120 years of experience and 18,500 patents globally. She is in charge of the revenue of the Laboratory Diagnostics Business Unit, while managing sales teams and business partners. Previously, Huyen spent two years with SISC Group as a Country Business Manager. For 10 years, she held various managerial positions at Vestergaard Frandsen, which specializes in complex emergency response and disease control products.

    Huyen earned her master's degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Paris 7 in 2005 and a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Ecole Superieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles de la Ville de Paris in the same year.

    Huynh is General Director Assistant at Duc Thanh Wood Processing. Established in 1991, Duc Thanh is one of Vietnam's leading manufacturers and exporters specializing in kitchenware, household utensils, home furniture, children's wooden toys and other customized products. His responsibilities are to recruit, evaluate and mentor sales team members, and assist the CEO during meetings with customers. Huynh started his career in Duc Thanh as Planning Staff Member and Sales Representative from 2006, then he became Deputy Sales Manager in 2016 until 2019.

    Huynh earned his bachelor's degrees both in Business Administration from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in 2010 and the College of Foreign Economy and Relations in 2006.

    Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Jiaming is Business Development Manager for Innolux Group Asia (IGA). IGA is a leading premium footwear developer and manufacturer based in Vietnam. He manages the company’s business development, supply chain, human resources and other operational activities. Jiaming began his career with Innolux as an executive CEO Assistant in 2012. He also worked for Prestige Packaging Industry from 2011, Huawei Technologies from 2008 and Foxconn Technologies from 2005 as an Industrial Designer.

    Jiaming is taking up an Executive Master of Business Administration at the RMIT University Vietnam. He gained his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Xihua University in Chengdu, China in 2005.

    Anh is Economist and Trade Specialist at the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam, which represents the EU in its political, economic and commercial relations with Vietnam. He processes and analyzes data, and writes economic and trade reports. Anh started his career with the EU Delegation as Press and Information Manager in 2004. He also worked at Australian Defense Force from 2000, VTV1 from 1996, and the Institute of International Relations in Hanoi from 1995.

    Anh earned his master's degree in Economic and Public Administration from Solvay School of Business in Belgium in 2007 and a bachelor's degree in Foreign Language from Hanoi University of Foreign Studies in 1996.

Her responsibilities are focused on the avocado development project with New Zealand Plant and Food Research in Dak Nong Province in Vietnam. She works closely with scientists and farmers to transfer agricultural technology and best practices. Previously, she worked at Vietnam Airlines as Commercial Executive from 2015 to 2018.

    Michael is the Associate CEO at Innolux, where he has worked for five years. Established in 2011, Innolux Group Asia is a leading premium footwear developer and manufacturer based in Vietnam. Michael is responsible for supporting the operations team and leading the Business Development unit ensuring customer satisfaction. He has also held positions of Business Development Executive and Development & Merchandising Manager.

    Michael often represents Innolux at International Footwear exhibitions and events. Most recently, he was a Guest Speaker at the annual China & Asia Footwear Summit held in Guangzhou, China. Michael has credits in Applied Professional Development from the University of Derby in 2010.

    Since 1989, Toyota-Indus manufactures and markets Toyota brand vehicles in Pakistan. He designs and distributes marketing content to authorized Toyota dealerships in an effort to boost sales. Previously, he was Credit Analyst for Meezan Bank Limited from 2017 to 2019.

    Mustafa gained both his bachelor's degree in Strategic Business Management and master's degree in Business Administration from Bentley University in Massachusetts, United States.

    As a study body representative, he strategically rebranded the university's Management program and introduced new tailored courses.

Founded in 2008, the Vietnam operation is one of the most successful projects of Samsung Corporation worldwide, with two factories and a Research and Development center located in the north of Vietnam. She is responsible for product stock keeping unit strategy, pricing management and channel investment.

    Previously, My held managerial positions in Vietnam offices of Colgate Palmolive from 2009 and Yahoo in 2008. She earned her Bachelor of Business Major in Marketing from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Melbourne City campus in 2006.

She is responsible for setting up, managing and driving growth for the group's technology and digital businesses in Vietnam. She also initiates strategic relationships, proposes marketing solutions and maintains key clients.

    Phuong has also been a Board of Management Member at AnyMind since 2018, and previously held managerial positions with MicroAd Vietnam. She earned her bachelor's degree in Media and Mass Communications from the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh - University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2011.

    Based in India, Pragya is Research Associate at the Hinrich Foundation. A philanthropic organization, the Hinrich Foundation focuses on advancing sustainable global trade. His role involves research and writing on international trade, and social media marketing. From 2017, Pragya was the India Export Consultant at the Hinrich Foundation. He also worked at India Today, a news media company, in 2018, Press Trust of India from 2015, and Business Standard newspaper in 2012. He earned his master's degree in Business and Financial Journalism from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2018.

    Pragya gained his Post-graduate Diploma in English Journalism from India Institute of Mass Communication in 2015 and bachelor's degree in Economics from Lucknow University in 2014.

    Based in Singapore, Sebastian is Senior Analyst at the Asian Trade Centre (ATC). Launched in Singapore in 2014, the ATC is an independent advocate for growing trade in Asia Pacific region. He manages and conducts trade policy and supply chain related research for governments and companies.

    Sebastian began his career with the ATC as Research Assistant from 2016. He also worked briefly for Blackpeak Group as Researcher in 2018, and the Latin American Chamber of Commerce from 2017.

    He earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Yale-NUS College in 2018 and studied Economics and Comparative Politics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2016.

    Shatrughan is Director International Business at Yeah1 Group. Founded in Vietnam in 2006, Yeah1 Group is one the biggest Media conglomerate in Vietnam dealing in TV and Digital media. Yeah1 pioneered the usage of multiple channels across social media, reaching over 4 billion monthly views at its peak. He leads the International business division at Yeah1 Group and conducts negotiations with international brands and partners, and manages the group's overseas subsidiaries and branches.

    Prior to Yeah1, Shatrughan served in senior management roles on cross-functional initiatives in YAN Digital, The Plus Company and others. Additionally, he has diverse project management experience in countries including Vietnam, Australia, Russia and India. He holds a double major bachelor's degree in Marketing and Management awarded by the University of Newcastle in Australia in 2010.

    Thong is Business Management and is Analyst for HSBC Bank in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. HSBC has 150 years of experience in Vietnam, currently one of the largest foreign banks in the country. He manages revenue and expense planning projects, and analyzes international and local trade, as well as trade and commodity corridors. Thong previously worked for HSBC as a Business Management Officer from 2007 to 2013. In 2015, he took a Certificate of Commercial Lending Risk Course with Moody’s Analytics, an American provider of financial analysis software and services.

    Thong received his Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii Shidler College of Business in 2013, and his Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Finance at the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City in 2007.

    Thuy is Country Head of Sales for Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) at HSBC Bank in Vietnam. HSBC has 150 years of experience in Vietnam, and is one of the largest foreign banks in the country. She leads the GTRF sales team and tracks its performance to ensure strategic alignment with global and country strategy. Thuy has been with HSBC Vietnam since 2007, when she was Trade Operation Staff Member. After two years, she was promoted as Trade Sales Manager. She also worked at Scancom International, a leading global manufacturer of outdoor furniture, as a Benelux Sales Manager from 2004.

    Thuy earned her bachelor’s degree in International Trade Management from Foreign Trade University in Vietnam in 2007.

    From Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Tuan is the President of Quoc Viet Seafood. He is included in the Intrafish 40 under 40 list of future leaders in the seafood industry. Tony leads the family owned and operated Quoc Viet Seafood, one of Vietnam’s leading shrimp processors and exporters. His responsibilities involve overseeing product development, identifying new market opportunities and leading the company to be accredited with numerous quality and sustainability assurance systems. He is also Supply and Distribution Manager for Meridien Seafoods in Sydney, Australia since 2013.

As one of the world’s largest banking and financial services organizations, HSBC serves more than 40 million customers worldwide. His primary responsibilities are to initiate and refine sales strategies, ensure successful market development, and enhance the company’s trade profile internally to improve awareness among its stakeholders. He started his career in HSBC as an operation staff on 2016.

    Tran has also worked in GT Nexus as a Country Manager in 2017, and MUFG, Japan’s largest bank, from 2012. He earned his Bachelor of International Trade at the Foreign Trade University, Vietnam, in 2009.

    Trang is Product Marketing Manager at Samsung Vina Electronics. Established in 1995 in Vietnam, Samsung Vina Electronics has more than 110,000 employees and a total of $9.5 billion in investment capital. She is responsible for product strategy, business planning, pricing, demand planning and trade spend management. Trang previously held leadership roles at Sony Electronics Vietnam from 2008. She took a Marketing Manager course at Vietnam Marcom Academy in 2009.

    Trang gained her bachelor's degrees in English Linguistics and Literature from the University of Social Science and Society in 2008, and in Foreign Trade at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in 2006.

    From Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Uyen is Production Planner for VF Corporation. Founded in 1899, VF Corporation outfits consumers around the world with its diverse portfolio of iconic outdoor and activity-based lifestyle and workwear brands, which include The North Face, Lee jeans, Vans and Jansport. Uyen's responsibilities are to manage production planning activities, ensure on-time performance and to closely connect and coordinate with regional supply planning teams for worldwide demand. She previously worked for Decathlon as Supply Production Leader from 2014 and then as Planner in 2017.

    Uyen earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in 2014.

    From Karachi, Pakistan, Zeeshan is Director of Business Development, Regulatory and Research and Development at Getz Pharma. Formed in 1995, pharmaceutical company Getz Pharma employs more than 5,700 people and operates in more than 25 countries in South Asia, Central Asia, South East Asia, the Middle East and Africa. He directs and oversees business development activities, regulatory management and research and development analytical laboratories.

    Before joining Getz Pharma, Zeeshan worked at Aga Khan University Hospital as In-house Pharmacist from 2005. He earned both his master's degree in Pharmacology.
