Alumni background

Sam is the Operations Manager at ByteDance, a multinational internet technology company based in Beijing. ByteDance is known for owning TikTok, the popular social media platform. Their products reach over 150 markets globally, and they have offices in 126 cities around the world.

Before joining ByteDance, Sam worked as a Marketing Executive at Global Sources, a leading B2B platform that connects businesses and provides market information and sourcing solutions. In this role, he managed all marketing and operational aspects for the Global Sources Summit, a conference designed to help businesses source and sell online.

Sam earned his bachelor of Business Administration from Hong Kong Baptist University through the Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholarship Program.
