My first thought when I learned I was awarded this scholarship
I have learn a lot from all candidates, team members, interviewers and foundation facilitators who changed nervous atmosphere into smiles. I am ready to get this chance to pursue my study in Master’s degree at a well-known university, VGU, and will start my real life journey. It is time to learn to live alone. It was unforgettable moment for me to join this scholarship and work with Cambodian, Burmese and Vietnamese candidates. I would like to say sincere thanks to the sponsors for this valuable opportunity.
Why I’m interested in trade
Trade is the key to develop the economy of one country. It is not about business only, it is about communication between people or countries too. It is really good if we can connect people to develop our countries.
What this scholarship opportunity means to me
The first sentence which represent the word scholarship for me is “It is Free!” However, this opportunity is not for free only, it is for higher education, abroad experience, growing maturity and also good career in the future.
The international experiences I’m most looking forward to
Living, studying and working with Vietnamese friends, can help me to adapt easily when I work with my co-sponsor as my long-term career.
What I’ll bring to my dorm to remind me of home
As nowadays technology help us a lot, I can call to my family whenever I want. So I didn’t bring many things with me because my room is small. Fortunately, there are many people around me can help to remind me of my home such as my roommates and classmates. They help me as my brothers and best friends of me at my country too.
My favorite hobbies and other interests
My hobbies are quite silent but seem fun. I love drawing cartoon with funny faces. I also like to spend my time searching about design idea, creating small tool by clay or decorating some stuff such as cup or glasses.
My proudest achievement so far in life
Winning the Hinrich Foundation Scholarship for MA in Global Production Engineering and Management Studies at Vietnamese German University is my proudest achievement so far.
The largest obstacle I’ve overcome so far in life
Living far from my family is the largest obstacle to me now. As I am the only daughter in my family, there were many things that my parents help me to do. I never went to a new place alone. I either went with my dad or friends. Now I came to study far away from them. I have to do everything on my own. However, this has helped me to be independent and learn to live alone.
My future goals and aspirations
To success in my long term career job, but I never want to work till I die. I want to have a happy life with farming.
How I plan to give back and help others
I will use my knowledge to help my company I will work for and I also want to be a lecturer. So I can share my knowledge and experience to my next generation to develop my country.
Personal statement
“You will get what you want if you know what they need.” – Unknown
