Economist, Cambridge Economic Policy Associates

Located in CEPA’s London office, Mitchell has assisted with modeling the financeability of a regulated utility company in the United Arab Emirates, drafted the financeability section of Ofgem’s RIIO-ED2 Draft Determination, and supported competition analysis on a proposed network sharing agreement between Telstra and TPG in Australia.

Mitchell has a Bachelor of Finance, Economics, and Statistics and a Bachelor of Statistics from the Australian National University. His economics thesis explored how investors and entrepreneurs search for and match with each other, while his statistics thesis pioneered a new methodology for panel data regression. He is currently undertaking a MRes/PhD in Economics at the London School of Economics.
