Cheng Ting-Fang

Cheng Ting-Fang (Annie) is the chief tech correspondent with Nikkei Asia, the flagship English publication of Nikkei Inc. Ting-Fang covers hardware, semiconductor supply chains, and the intersection of chips and US-China geopolitical tension.

Ting-Fang was part of the Nikkei Asia team winning general excellence for Best in Business Awards with the US Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing (SABEW) in early 2022.  She also received several SOPA Awards for her 2018 and 2019 coverage across regional scoop awards, business reporting, and explanatory reporting, on topics related to China's chip ambition and the US crackdown on Huawei.
