Scholar background

Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Jeremie is the National Contract Logistics Manager at Geodis, a global French firm with expertise in supply chain optimization, freight forwarding, contract logistics and distribution. He previous served as a Warehouse Operation Manager and was responsible for developing end-to-end supply chain solutions and warehouse implementation and logistic procedures. Before joining Geodis, he worked as a Logistic Engineer at both Daher, a French aircraft manufacturer and service provider, as well as at Airbus Helicopters.

Jeremie earned an Engineering Certificate from École d’Ingénieurs CESI Saint-Nazaire, and a Higher National Diploma in Quality, Industrial Logistics and Organization from Nantes University in France. In 2022, he completed his Master of Global Trade at RMIT University through the Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholarship Program.

Personal statement

During my 10 years’ experience in the logistic field, I’ve been able to learn that continuous training is the key point to success. I came from a pure logistic background where I could practice very early through an apprenticeship.

I’ve worked as a Logistic Engineer in the warehouse of Geodis in Vietnam for a couple of years, which allows me today to handle major contract logistics customers as a Key Account Manager. This new position gives me the opportunity to discover the total supply chain (freight, trucking, customs and warehousing). I’ve always been very keen to learn and also practice at the same time, as I believe that logistics is a very practical field.

Furthermore, I always believe that Vietnam is the place to be and this year, we can see that it’s more and more true. We will have chances to work with different countries in Asia, Europe and America, as Vietnam is under the spotlight. I’m convinced that I have a lot to learn in the Master of Global Trade courses, including the Sales and Cross-cultural Negotiation, Managing Across Cultures and International Strategy. The Master of Global Trade program really captures the required knowledge and skills for future company leaders. It’s aligned with my personal ambitions to grow my career and excel in the future.
