OECD Economic Outlook 2020

In the “double-hit” COVID-19 scenario, global GDP is projected to decline by 7.6% this year, while in the “single-hit” scenario, world GDP is projected to decline by 6% this year.

The economic outlook is exceptionally uncertain. Reflecting the unusual degree of uncertainty, this Economic Outlook presents two equally likely scenario for each country and economy – one scenario is which a second outbreak occurs in all the economies towards the end of the year and an alternative scenario where the second outbreak is avoided.
